Cranberry seed oil is considered one of the rarest oils. It is extracted from the seeds of ripe berries. Its hue varies from pale yellow to pale green, and aroma is bittersweet. The oil contains a balanced composition of valuable omega acids - 3 (alpha-linolenic acid), 6 (linoleic acid) and 9 (oleic acid), which have a beneficial effect on skin condition. It also contains phytosterols that restore damaged skin barrier properties. Moreover it contains a record-breaking amount of Vitamin E - a well-known antioxidant.
The oil absorbs well without leaving a greasy feeling on skin. It is widely used in anti-aging skincare, it splendidly relieves irritation and itching, protects the skin from scorching sunlight and is very effective against chapping and dermatitis.
